Abstract :
This study aims to present a model of the media narrative of the Ramadan War in foreign media and has been conducted with a case study of the Iran International Network. The research method is qualitative and based on content analysis, and data was collected through semi-structured interviews with 15 experts in the fields of media, communications, and political science. The findings show that the media narrative of the Ramadan War in foreign media is the result of a complex interaction between media strategies, professional constraints, and contextual conditions. Drivers such as news framing, media competition, and efforts to attract audience attention push the media to produce narratives that can have the greatest impact on public opinion. In contrast, challenges such as limited access to field information, pressure to publish news quickly, and difficulty in verifying data can affect the accuracy and quality of these narratives. In addition, intervening factors, including political and economic conditions, the cultural backgrounds of the audience, and the editorial policies of the media, also play a role in the formation and orientation of narratives. Finally, the consequences of this process can be observed at various cognitive, attitudinal, social, and even political levels; in such a way that media narratives not only affect the audience's understanding of the war, but can also influence the formation of attitudes, social dialogue, and the orientations of public opinion. These findings indicate that analyzing the media narrative of the war requires simultaneous attention to the structure of the media, environmental conditions, and the way the audience receives and interprets it.
