Design curriculum of religious and moral education for the junior high school students, based on a hybrid approach of reason and faith from the perspective of the Holy Quran

Abstract :
The aim of this study is to design a religious and moral education curriculum for the junior high school students, based on a hybrid approach of reason and faith at the Holy Quran.The research method is descriptive, in which after explaining the main components of the Qur'an approach about the relationship between reason and faith, the main elements of the religious and moral education curriculum have been identified, according to the programming model of Taylor. The results showed that how the objectives, content, teaching and evaluating methods of religious and moral education curriculum should be determined according to the holistic approach of the Qur'an. Finally, according to the findings, recommendations were provided to the authorities and school principals to improve the performance of religious and moral education of secondary schools.
