After the translation period and Muslim's focusing on the Greek cultural and intellectual scholars, Aristotle moral books became popular. While his metaphysical and logical views were also being spread all around Islamic lands, Muslims' attention to his moral works is significant, though there were other philosopher's ideas in this field. We can list well-known scholars who tried to study the moral issues and philosophy of ethics. Among all of their ethical systems, some including Al-Farabi and Ibn Meskavayh focused on Aristotle thoughts and his famous idea of "golden mean". Al- Farabi wrote the book of Tahsil Al- Sa'adat (Achieving Happiness) and Ibn Meskavayh wrote Al-Taharat (Purification) and Tahzib E Nafs (Refining Soul). Both scholars appreciated Aristotle's ideas in designing a moral system. In fact, Al-Farabi is known as a connecting chain between his later philosophers and Aristotle. Therefore, in this paper, we are trying to compare Ibn Meskavayh and Farabi's view points on different ethical issues including mean, happiness, and virtue. Also we are studying about the influence of Al-Farabi on Ibn Meskavayh thoughts and representing their similar ideas influenced by religion. Finally, we come to this conclusion that Ibn Meskavayh was influenced by both Aristotle and Al-Farabi. Aristotle affected him through his idea of "golden mean" and Al-Farabi influenced him through analyzing the idea and religious teachings. Manuscript profile

"One of the discrepant issues between the Aristotle experts is the relationship between the Aristotle's ethics and the moral theories of egoism or altruism forming the two opposing readings from his ethical theory. Accordingly, some prescribed Aristotle as egoist and some others prescribed him as altruist. The final judgment of the two readings depends on the distinction between the two types of impressions from the egoist or altruist theories: An impression relating to an outside fulfillment and a purely abstract impression (philosophical) from the two theories. Based on the first impression, the possibility of analyzing the Aristotle’s ethics in the form of egoist or altruist is basically cancelled because egoists or altruists know moral goodness as synonymous with profit or pleasure not wisdom. In addition, these two theories have a more formal approach to normative ethics and do not undergo any priori judgment about moral concepts; while Aristotle has completely foregone ideas about these concepts and provides a detailed list of them to his audience. However upon the second impression, since we can consider wisdom like profit and pleasure as the basis of a value judgement about the human actions, the primary basis for the analysis of Aristotle's ethics from the perspective of egoist or altruist is provided. However, in this case the Aristotle's character-oriented approach in ethics against the action-oriented approach of the mentioned two theories can take the possibility of analyzing the Aristotle’s ethics from the perspective of egoist or altruist down to uncertainty. One of the conditions posed on the moral responsibility, it's a control. For the common consideration, it's interpreted the concept of a control based on the availability of an agent to the alternative possibilities, but causal determinism has faced this consideration up to the critical challenges. John Martin Fischer tend to agree with the challenge of causal determinism, particularly with the result of the consequence argument. Hence, he revises the concept of the control. Fischer clarifies his theory about the moral responsibility based on the concept of "guidance control", against regulative control. This type of the control has two main components that each of them has three criterion for determination. Fischer uses these elements in four aspects: 1) recognition of the moral responsibility in the practical different situations; 2) illumination and defense of the triad types of the moral responsibility; 3) responsiveness to the challenges and criticism; 4) development and explanation of his theory.
